Super clean! The cleanliness of the room and bed is worth the price alone. But it was also a great stay cause the rooms are nicely updated/renovated and the service was friendly. You feel welcomed and comfortable. I would stay again next time I'm driving through but also if for some reason I was in Sault Ste Marie for an extended time this would be a nice place to stay. Close to the highway, so easy access to nature and the city core and its right next to a Timmies! Better then an overpriced hotel with employees who don't care enough to clean the room well.
Not a bad place if you are passing through. Very clean rooms with a strong perfume-like smell that is trying to mask what smells like mold. Friendly and helpful staff that are trying to breathe new life into an old motel.
CLEANEST MOTEL I HAVE EVER SEEN. I travel a lot and have since I was a child all over Canada and the states. This place is a gem at the price...in fact, a steal. I always check everything in a room before I plunk down and was shocked and awed by the shear attention to detail. Every cranny clean. I am currently sitting in a room here for the second time in under two weeks with no issue with my kids playing on the floor. Plus, the owner is nice and the beds comfy and the shower works well.
Service at the front desk, what some of the best I've ever had even in comparison to high-end hotels. The rooms were very clean and the internet was the fastest I've seen. The beds were a little hard but other than that it was perfect for an overnight stay.
A traditional style motel, single level with each room with an outside door. I really like this for packing gear in and out. The room, bed, furnishings, and bathroom were spotless. What sets it apart was the level of care given by staff. When I arrived, Rick helped me position my motorcycle and then he brought a small board to position under the kick stand. He also brought out some cleaning cloths and spray to clean the bugs off my bike. I know they give this kind of service to everyone but this motel is definitely motorcycle friendly. I plan to stay here again on my return trip.
