Hotel room was very tidy and clean, with a fairly convenient location. The hot breakfast was also pretty good, on the better end of most hotels. There's was also a pool and small gym room which was a nice touch. Staff was professional and courteous.
Check in was awesome, fast and just what we needed. Room size was large. Enjoyed having the refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine especially. The staff from front desk to breakfast keeper and grounds were very friendly and welcoming. They seem to enjoy working here; even when they had to reset the whirlpool alarm because we accidentally set it off
It was a good hotel for the price, the bed was comfortable and the rooms are what you'd expect from a hotel. The breakfast provided in the morning was pretty tiny though.
The pool, hot tub, and sauna were great. The room was average. We were very disappointed with the "full breakfast" and the attitude of the person in charge of breakfast. When we asked about gluten-free options for my mother who has Celiac disease, this person very rudely likened being gluten-free to other fad diets. Celiac disease makes gluten into a poison for the people affected by it. It would not be difficult for the hotel to offer some fruit and yogurt for people who can't have gluten (fruit and yogurt would be great options for people who want a healthier or lighter breakfast as well). Overall, we would not stay there again simply because of our negative experience with the breakfast.
Great location, fast and friendly service, fantastic rooms, and a close walk to the mall and train. The only thing I don't recommend is their breakfast.
