Very clean location for overnight stay. However, one major downside I have for this location is parking. The parking is not located in front of your room, its random and on first come basis. This is a problem because I prefer to keep a my car in my view. Other problem, however minor is that room that I stayed in did not have a microwave. Overall, this hotel is good valve for money! I strongly recommend.
I don't typically post reviews, but I was honestly impressed with the quality of the rooms and more importantly -- the staff. The young man (whom I believe was filling in for his dad) was extremely helpful and friendly, even though I was a needy customer and came to him with questions three minutes before midnight.In the morning, the woman who was with him saw us packing our car and was also extremely friendly. When she asked us how our night was she seemed genuinely engaged and not as if she was asking out of obligation like most places.The room itself was pretty standard for a motel, but it was clean, didn't smell, and had an AC unit we were able to control ourselves, which is a plus for me and sadly has not been a typical motel experience I've encountered.All in all, you can go to any motel but at the end of the day -- and after a 10 hour drive -- the staff experience was what made this motel stand apart for me and is why I would recommend staying here over the others.I will definitely be returning if I travel through the area again!(Also -- The hotel is non-smoking and pet friendly!)
Staff was friendly and helpful. The gentleman who checked us in looked up hours of operation at nearby restaurants to help us find a place that was open! The room was clean and well-furnished, and the bars of soap that were provided were "Truly Earth-Friendly"--made from grape seed oil instead of palm oil. So much value at this unassuming mid-century gem!
The owner and his wife went above and beyond to assist me when I needed some help. We were a long way from home and their kindness is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!!! I definitely recommend this motel.
This motel was really basic. I would have liked there to have been better soaps. I would have liked to not hear the adjacent room. I would have liked a deeper bathtub with new fixtures. However, the room is cheap, clean, in a good location, with a hot shower and a comfortable bed. No real frills but it is good for the price.
