It really gave me a feeling of relaxation . The hotel had a nice water wall near its front desk. The bathroom was fully renovated and clean. Everything in the room was nice and clean. The price was good too. I think the hotel deserves to be at least 3.5 star . I only discovered one negative thing: the room's door took a while to be closed completely.
Recently remodeled - clean hotel with nice dcor and a beautiful pool, hot tub and patio area. A short walk to the waterfront, big breakfast area. Large, comfortable, airy lobby with friendly staff. The room was nicely furnished with comfy beds. Definitely would stay here again!
A good team needs a good team leader. Mr Nick Brash, general manager of the hotel, is such a good leader. When we had specific requests on the accommodation Nick helped to address it just in time. He called my cellphone and did not talk down on me. As a guest of Holiday Inn, I feel respected and my family respected. Beyond that, the breakfast was nutricious and the location very close to the river. My wife booked the hotel and she made the right decision.
Maxi, The front desk agent was very kind and awesome AF! My charger gave out and phone was dead and they had no android chargers so she went outside to her car and lent me her personal charger! So awesome of her to go the extra mile and demonstrate amazing customer service. That's very rare to find these days! The holiday inn is very lucky to have an employee like Maxi!
Friendly staff. Pool was nice and large - it has a shower, sauna, as well as a whirlpool. Room was nice and spacious which allowed my one year old to walk and crawl around. There are no in room safes. We asked for a king room and the one we were given had a walk in shower. If you have little kids, you may want to inquire about a room that has a bath tubwe had pasta for dinner at a nearby restaurant, and the little one needed a bath afterit was a bit of a challenge to clean him in a shower without a tub. They also have complimentary guest laundry with no charge detergent. It is a newer hotel and very bright, clean, and inviting. Free breakfast is also offered with a good selection of hot/cold breakfast items. The only knock was that we were given room102 which is right off the main lobby/reception/business centre. It was a bit noisy at night as you could hear any loud commotion that is going on in the lobby. It was late and the little one was sound asleep so it was not worth trying to change rooms.
