If you want a good steak for BBQ in Sault Ste Marie I would suggest you start here. We used to buy exclusively at a smaller butcher shop until we found the grain fed New York Strip at Romes. It's top notch
Love the Joe Fresh store in there and everything you need in groceries one stop shop. Some items a little pricy
9:30am Sep 20, 2018 Extremely Rude cashiers..I have never been treated so ignorantlyI have severe life threatening allergies so I wear a mask in public to protect myself...these 2 cashiers ignored more, talked to each other, did not help put the bags in my cart...did not hand me back my card tossed it on the counter for me to pick up...did not tell me the total just stood there...then proceeded to ring in the next customer putting their groceries on top of mine!!!If you are afraid do not guess what is wrong grow a pair and ask...I am not sick but I have to protect myself from you.Pretty sad though because they are going to loose out. I spend $300 a week on groceries.I will miss some of the deals but I would rather spend more where they will treat me with some respect
Good place to get somethings you can't find elsewhere. Very very expensive. staff at times are friendly but often find people in the meat (fish) deli section and cashier's appear unhappy and blunt.
Great hot food and deli counter! The new pizza is amazing with great fresh toppings and thick crust! The Italian melt is a favorite of mine! The sushi is the best store bought sushi you can get in Sault ste Marie! Rome's also has a great beer selection for last minute beer needs. They usually have great deals on food that help cut down the cost of groceries!
