Great burger place with quality and quantity that is well worth the price (which is only high when compared to fast-food style offerings). Friendly and attentive staff. Enough vegetarian options (some appies, two types of burgers and a few other variations that could be made) make for a diverse and welcoming menu that should please anyone looking for a great burger, tacos, or even salad.
The burgers here are fantastic, facility is clean, staff are pleasant and we will definitely return when in the Soo.With that said, it is also an honest and caring place. I left my purse hanging on the back of my chair, full of cash, credit cards, passports, and everything else one carries in their bag. Neither I nor my husband realized it until we were preparing to cross the border. THANKFULLY, Taylor, our waitress, saw it and put the bag up. Another staff member was concerned that it was under the bar so he/she had it put in the safe. Thank both of you for saving us considerable misery. We will definitely recommend The Burger Don both for the food and the honest and caring staff!
Excellent little spot. Looks like it used to be an older mcds or BK, but don't let the outside fool you. It's very modern inside with a nice little bar. They have a good selection of craft beers on tap along with a few local brews. Full bar too. Ordered the jalapeo specialty burger. Apparently, you can't get burgers cooked to order (wanted medium rare) but it still came out medium and juicy. I'm a huge French fry fan, but get a full order of onion rings here. Fantastic
Impressive portions and good service. I definitely enjoyed my first time at the Don. Although the loaded fries didn't turn out to be my thing, the onion rings were excellent. I look forward to returning for their large selection of tacos.
Busy place with quality food. Nachos were good, but soggy, likely due to the pico. The cheese seemed to be lacking as well. The Don Burger was fantastic. The apple wood smoked bacon was great, the bacon aioli added a nice tang to the burger as well. The meat was top notch and cooked to perfection. Their craft beer list is extensive and their cocktails are great! This is a place I would definitely recommend and would visit again in a heartbeat.
