This was one of the best put together air museums I've ever been to. We were visiting from the States, and everyone in town told us to be sure to visit this place. It did not disappoint. Plenty for adults and children of all ages and interests to see. Some of the planes are been set up to sit in. They had one expert on hand that my husband got to know quite well who had very superior knowledge on the use of these beautiful aircraft! If you are in the Sault for more than just a few hours, don't miss this gem!

Extremely informative and interactive museum. Great for all ages. Many of the displays and presentations show how past practices and development impact how we live today. For a greater appreciation of Canadian history visit this museum. Plenty of parking but easy to walk to from Downtown Sault Ste. MARIE.

Intriguing museum with well-versed docents. There is a wide variety of bus planes on display. This serves both as a historical museum and a museum depicting the engineering evolution of these airplanes. Excellent, short videos giving one the sense of flying in one of these planes.

This place was amazing. I don't know if it was because we went mid week but we mostly had the place to ourselves. I would say a good portion of the aircraft were hands on.The 4 D firefighting move is a must see and it's included in the admission price which was a bonus for us from the lower 48 when everything costs extra.I got to get my mad pilot skills on as they had one aircraft with the cockpit open. It was childhood dream come true to flip buttons till my heart content's. I'm not going to lie I added a few gun sounds just to keep it real.

My son loved it. It's a little run down and a couple of the little game / displays broken. But it was cool to see and get in some old planes. They've got two small movie theaters with 4D which is cool. An old replica of the Watchtower this is cool for the kids. In some of the educational displays are pretty awesome Interactive. You can spend a couple of hours there. I will go back again when I'm in the area.
